It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it has been a challenging time because it seemed my form was missing completely," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

By the time she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if we do, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
